Measuring Instrument

ANS Advance Solutions offer a full product line of precision gauges to satisfy our customers' requirement. Interchangeablility of every component regardless of the production conditions should be maintained, while highest productivity should be pursued by the best available means. Parts inspection systems employing gauges are highlighted to attain this purpose. There are two ways of controlling with gauges. In one, limit gauges consisting of GO and NO GO gauges are used to judge whether the dimensions of the parts are within the standard allowance or tolerance. When the use of many gauges is impractical, a controlling method is prefferred using standard gauges. Our gauges are widely used for the purpose of securing interchangeability of parts and are useful for quality assurance and improved productivity.

Reversible gauge can have up to twice the useful life compared to non reversible type because most of the wear in use occurs as the gauge is presented to a hole. With reversible gauges, the gauging element can simply be removed from its handle, reversed and refitted presenting a fresh, unknown gauge end.

• Range from 0.08 to 350.00 mm / 0.030 - 13.800 in.
• Unified thread plug to JIS and H28 standard.
• Metric thread plug to JIS, DIN and ISO 1502 standard.

Certain classifications of screws are measured with matching limit gauges. Specific suitable gauges are used for checking various screws such as metric screws, unified screws, parallel pipe thread, bicycle screws, sewing machine screws, fire extinguisher screw, ect. Where the pitch diameter of the thread is to be measured, the GO gauge should pass easily and the NO GO gauge should enter no more than two turn (according to JIS standard) in order to meet the inspection tolerance of that class of the standard.

Special gauge as per drawing and also support Calibration Certificate from Accreditional Laboratory.

API and Premium Thread Inspection

Lead Gage

The lead gage inspects both internal and external thread lead using contact points that seat in the threads of the part. Thread lead is the distance between threads, measured on a plane parallel to the threaded part. The pitch of the thread determines the diameter of the contact points required for taking measurements.
The LG-5002 uses a two-point system to inspect thread lead for ACME, Stub ACME, UN, or API threads. The two points allow for a sweeping action to obtain the measurement.The LG-5003 uses the three-point system to inspect thread lead for ACME, Stub ACME, UN Threads, or API Thread. Two fixed contact points at the rear of the gage and one moveable contact point at the front of the gage provide complete stability when taking thread lead measurements. This unique design does not require sweeping to obtain measurements. Plus contact points can be easily changed to allow the gage to be used on a variety of thread forms.
Before inspecting parts, the lead gage must be preset to a nominal predetermined dimension using a lead gage setting standard. These setting standards are manufactured according to ANSI and API specifications. Lead standards are available for ACME, Stub ACME, UN and API threads.

Internal & External Taper Gages
The Internal & External taper gages measure variation in connection taper. Taper gages are shipped with .072" diameter contact points as standard. However, each set of contact point is interchangeable to allow measuring different thread forms. COntact point diameters are manufactured to tolerances of +.0002". The pitch of the thread and type of the thread form determine the diameter of the contact points required for taking measurements.

- External Taper Gages use for inspect external threads for API thread forms ranging from 0” – 24”.
- Uses interchangeable contact points to allow inspection on a variety of thread forms.
